OURMEDIA has a new face to celebrate the 6 month opening of our new independent media.
On september 27th, activists groups will have information kiosks all
along Wellington st. This will be part of the "Unite for Justice - End
Israeli COlonialism event"
On september 28th, a big rally, starting at 1:30 pm in front of the Americain Embassy. Buses will be comming from Montreal and Toronto. An estimated 20000 people are expected. Information will be distributed in order to educate the public. There will also be an artistic aspect to the day as well as unique speakers will be invited. The day will end with a vigil with candles being lit and planted on the lawn in front of Parliament Hill. They are aiming for 2000 candles, which is the number of Palestinians killed in the 2nd Intifada up to that date.
